For over a century, the Chuck Hutton name has stood for excellence in the automotive industry. What started in 1919 as a Dodge dealership in South Dakota grew into a Memphis institution. The family business made history as Chuck Hutton Dodge became the first in the U.S. to sell over 50,000 vehicles. The dealership evolved over the years, becoming Chuck Hutton Chevrolet in 1972 and adding the Toyota brand in 2004. A major shift occurred in 2020, when General Manager Young Kim acquired Chuck Hutton Toyota, keeping the dealership locally owned. Since then, Young Kim has led the company into a new era. He founded YK Auto Group in 2024, acquiring Chuck Hutton Nissan and, in May 2025, also acquiring Chuck Hutton Chevrolet. This ensures the entire Chuck Hutton family of dealerships will continue to thrive as a locally owned business. Our commitment goes beyond selling cars. Under Young Kim's leadership, we are dedicated to sustainability and innovation. We are proud to be leading the way in electric vehicle adoption by installing the ChargePoint Express Plus system—the first in Memphis and the largest public charging hub of its kind in the nation.
